The Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank Government Banking Account is a premium interest-bearing checking account designed especially for municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, unions, retirement boards, and other state and local government entities. Unlike other banks, Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank is offering its Government Banking Account free of service charges when the account’s daily minimum balance is greater than $200.
This account is a required component of any Government Banking solution, and offers unlimited check-writing capability, a favorable interest rate on excess balances, and a next-day availability schedule.
