Other Ways of Giving
Nonprofit Grant Funding
At Martha's Vineyard Bank, we're helping build thriving communities by addressing issues fundamental to economic health and sustainability. As a financial institution, we respond in two ways - by helping to address the immediate need as well as funding innovative long-term solutions that assure economic self-sufficiency.
Through our sponsorships, we support the economic, social and cultural life of our community. We provide an extensive program of arts, sports, and event sponsorships to help maintain a vibrant, creative and healthy community. This includes underwriting art exhibitions, events, and performances that require private funding to make them a reality.
The Martha's Vineyard Bank Matching Gifts program encourages employees to contribute to qualifying charitable organizations. The program offers a way to double - up to $400 per person each calendar year - employees' contributions to their favorite charitable organizations and thus improve our community.
Martha's Vineyard Bank employees and retirees volunteer hundreds of hours in our community each year. To honor those who give their time and service to causes important to them, Martha's Vineyard Bank allows employees to dedicate a portion of their working hours per year toward serving their favorite charitable organizations.
