Martha's Vineyard Bank is proud to announce "Donation Jeans," an internal fundraiser to benefit the Coast Guard Spouses Association of Menemsha, and also announcing that Island Food Pantry baskets and Falmouth Service Center baskets are in place at all Martha's Vineyard Bank branch lobbies from February 1 through March 1, 2019.
"Donation Jeans" coincided with the excitement of Superbowl LIII, and with the Patriots coming away with an exciting WIN! Bank staff each donated $10 for the ability to wear Patriots Gear and nice jeans to work on "Patriots Friday" (the Friday before the big game). This money will help the Island's coast guard families, who were among those hit by the partial government shutdown.
Island Food Pantry baskets and Falmouth Service Center baskets will remain in all Martha's Vineyard Bank lobbies, both on Martha's Vineyard and in Falmouth, through the month of February - as March is the peak time for need. Bank staff and customers are encouraged to donate canned goods and non-perishable pantry items during regular banking hours.
Martha's Vineyard Bank has hired Teri Ferreira-Keyes to lead the Bank's branches in Woods Hole and in Falmouth on Palmer Avenue as manager.
Ferreira-Keyes has served small businesses on Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts as a trusted advisor for over four decades. She offers significant expertise and experience in business and commercial banking.
