Fraud Alert: Caller ID Spoofing

Scammers are disguising their numbers to appear as Martha's Vineyard Bank on your caller ID. These calls aren't from us and are intended to steal your personal information.

Scammers use technology to fake trusted phone numbers, making their calls appear legitimate.

Protect yourself:

  • We never ask for passwords, full debit card numbers, or PINs over the phone
  • If something doesn't seem right, hang up and call us directly at 508-627-4266
  • Never share sensitive information with unsolicited callers

Your safety is our priority. For more information on fraud protection, please visit our Fraud Prevention Page or contact the Solutions Desk.

Switching Is Easy

By now, you've probably already opened your account at Martha's Vineyard Bank. Next you will need to make sure to detach any other institutions or establishments that are interacting with your old account, and then get them connected with your new Martha's Vineyard Bank account. Our customizable "Switch Kit" contains four very useful fillable documents that you can use to organize your attached accounts, and alert associated institutions of your changes.

Get info about Social Security Direct Deposits.

Download the complete "Switch Kit," which includes all the following documents:

  1. Account Changeover Checklist (A form to help you make a list of connected institutions/businesses.)
  2. Direct Deposit Authorization Form (A fillable form letter template for Government institutions from which you receive direct deposits.)
  3. Redirect Automatic Payments (A fillable form letter template for institutions who make direct deposits to or withdrawals from your account.)
  4. Account Closing Letter (A fillable form letter to inform your old bank that you are closing your account.)

Or, download individual documents by choosing only the one(s) you need below.
